It would be nice if you could reset part of a map to how it was earlier, though the tricky question may be how much earlier. Maybe "how the map was when it was just loaded"? But if a map is popular that might be quite awhile back.

There is an undo/revert feature that is very short-term, but it could probably work better than it currently does.
