Im not sure where this will live now as in edge or edge-bios can you please decide and update as needed

i need this api kept that is read only public
if its to be done in the bios then please remove from edge
if its to be done in the bios then please also remove the db from edge
please also keep and or add the auto creation of details https://github.com/NubeIO/rubix-edge/blob/master/database/device.go#L17
