The borrowing system should include:

new data models for Borrowings and Borrwoing Items (these are not borrowed items but rather part of the borrowing, e.g. 3 of item xy)
menus (probably a new item on the navbar) for creating, editing and viewing borrows
the current state (borrowed, available, partially available, ...) of an item should be displayed as a badge beside its name
