Players who can hear you pm: -- Lies #884

What is the problem?

When you try to PM someone with /pm "who can hear you" is not true.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

Type /pm in chat, enter a letter or two of persons name and send them a
message. You'll see that you messaged every player on the server that had that
letter combination in their name (even though "Who can hear you" showed you
only 1 person).

Do you have any errors? serverside or clientside? If you do, which ones?

None.

Are you using the downloaded version or an SVN revision (if SVN, which
revision number)?

1198

Please provide any additional information below.

- If there are 3 players with the names cow, mycandy, and ape, typing "/pm c"
will bring up MyCandy (only one that can hear) rather than Cow. Typing "/pm a"
will also bring up mycandy.

- If both of these PMs were sent to Mycandy (Players who can hear you pm:
mycandy (only)) cow would also receive the first one too and ape would also
receive the second message.

- (If it was bob that was sending the PMs) In your chat window when you send
the single PM that reaches more than one person, you see:

PM Bob: Testing
PM Bob: Testing

For larger servers you'll see a lot more of course.

Why not tpying the full name ? Than you have the correct player.

On my server there are many 10+ character names (not to mention it's a
deathmatch server and ever second counts)... You have to deal with spaces, l's
that look like I's or 1's, and 0's o's etc.
