Background

Harmony, our AI-driven platform structured around a hierarchy of spaces, groups, channels, threads, and messages, aims to enhance brainstorming, research, communication, and coworking through its flexible system. The platform offers voice interaction capabilities and a dynamic UI that syncs speech with text highlights.

Proposal

Integrate the Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) feature from llamaindsx's TypeScript package to enhance Harmony's functionality. This integration is expected to:

1. Improve Recommendation Quality: By utilizing RAG, Harmony can offer more precise and contextually relevant organizational suggestions and content recommendations.
2. Enhance Search Functionality: Implement an intention-based search across various spaces using RAG, enabling users to find the most accurate and relevant information quickly.
3. Detailed Reference of Conversations: Facilitate referencing past conversations with time awareness, significantly improving the utility of stored data.
