Could you join efforts together?

@ijc, if this project is dormant, could you please enable issue tracker in your fork? Thanks.

I'm afraid I'm not interested in taking over maintenance of project (and I would not say my fork is better maintained by any stretch) so I won't be enabling issues on my fork, sorry.

I originally added some fixes for this project because I wanted to use it in Moby (when I worked at Docker) but I think that moby has switched to https://github.com/morikuni/aec in the meantime.
