Hi all,
The email below from the eLife group may be of interest to some of us. I'll update more as info becomes available. :)

Hi everyone,
The eScience Reproducible Research and Open Science special interest group has been very fortunate to host two excellent visiting speaker this quarter, Richard Ball (Project TIER) and Julia Lowndes Stewart (Openscapes). Thanks to everyone who helped make their seminars and visits a success.
For the Winter quarter we're proposing to run a 'Reprohack' day as our signature event, following plan made by our colleague Anna Krystalli: (https://github.com/reprohack/reprohack-hq#reprohack-hq) There have been several of these events in Europe, so I think we have a good chance of success here.
Please take a look at the event format and send me an email in the next week or so if you'd like to join in organising or be involved in any way at all!
warmly,
Ben (Chair of the RR&OS SIG)
