Will need to think a little bit about the implementation in the hybrid case but the basic balance for the SUTs needs to be

B=V⋅e−U⋅e−Y⋅e

which should equal 0! Basically saying that the production/supply needs to equal industry- + final-demand. (for every product).

Sure, but how we do this is the scientific core of the project. The optimizer should not just look at the numbers, but the metadata around them to decide which numbers can be changed a lot or a little.

BTW, it looks like the best way to get understandable math in Github is to create an image. Your equations is hard to read because e is not defined.
