I did some looking around for the idea if "concretization" in information theory. As far as I can tell, this is not an idea that comes from information theory. Rather, I believe it derives in some sense from Roman Ingarden's philosophy of art. E.g. see here: https://plato.stanford.edu/entries/ingarden/#AestObjeAestValuAestExpe

Perhaps @alanruttenberg has more to say about this.
