Align OBO metadata annotation properties with other ontology metadata efforts #362

Currently the primary representation is yaml/json, see for example https://github.com/OBOFoundry/OBOFoundry.github.io/blob/master/ontology/uberon.md (click raw).

We don't currently have a kwalify/jsonld for this, the documentation could be improved. Some of the fields are for metadata annotation purposes, others have specific effects on the OBO pipeline (e.g. the build field).

This gets translated to rdf via a JSON-LD mapping as part of the repo release process. See the context.jsonld file. This provides some semantics

We can change the context jsonld file without affecting the pipeline at all. We should review this file to make sure it maps to the correct properties and classes from either semweb vocabs (dc, dcat, etc) or IAO or whatever.

I feel like if this hasn't been done or commented on in over 4 years, we can probably close it?

Leave open until

  1. We have all the properties in OMO
  2. We have the properties annotated e.g. with skos (unless standard URIs are used directly)
  3. This is implemented in the OBO metadata
