Hello,

I would like to request the namespace OVAE. Here is the required information:

- Prefix: OVAE
- Title: the Ontology of Vaccine Adverse Events
- Short description: A biomedical ontology in the domain of vaccine adverse
events. OVAE is an extension of the Ontology of Adverse Event (OAE) and uses
the vaccine information imported from the Vaccine Ontology (VO).
- Download link: http://ovae.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/src/ontology/ovae.owl
- Home page: http://www.violinet.org/ovae/
- Contact: Yongqun Oliver He
- Mailing-list (if any): ovae-discuss@googlegroups.com
- Tracker link: https://code.google.com/p/ovae/issues/list
- Publication (if any): Marcos E , He Y. The Ontology of Vaccine Adverse Events
(OVAE) and its usage in representing and analyzing vaccine adverse events.
Workshop “Vaccine and Drug Ontology Studies (VDOS 2013)". International
Conference on Biomedical Ontologies (ICBO), Montreal, Qc, Canada. July 7, 2013
. Full-length proceeding paper.
http://informatics.mayo.edu/CNTRO/index.php/Events/VDOS_2013
- PURL user ID: yongqunhe

The OVAE is an open access. It is aimed to ontologically represent vaccine
adverse events.

Thank you,

Oliver

Added to ontologies.txt
Created group obo-oae with yongqunhe as owner (this group can administer both
OAE and its child OVAE)
Attempted to add obo-aeo to list of owners for existing OAE purls, but failed.
Changes would not register at OCLC.
Added /obo/ovae.owl, made obo-aeo and yongqunhe (redundantly) owner. Attempted
to add obo also as owner but failed.

Someone with more OCLC-fu than me may need to complete this

Funny I tried to add the OBO group as well and it didn't take either, though it
did add me as a maintainer: so it did consider the request as it by default add
the requester in addition to the rest and processed it, but didn't add the OBO
group. I think the right way of doing it is adding the OBO group as member of
the obo-xxx groups
Note also that when creating the obo-xxx group, people should be added as
maintainers as well as members. (maintainers are those allowed to maintained
the group, and members are those allowed to update the PURLs, I ran into the
issue with Jie earlier

For the OAE purls as far as I can see they are administered by Allen and
Oliver, so we wouldn't be able to update those.

I think we can close this ticket, assuming Oliver/Allen will update ownership
of the existing OAE purls?

I think we are ok for this ticket; closing assuming nothing else needs to be
done. Please re-open if wrong.
