So originally designed app with Ethiopia in mind. User selects admin units of interest and then bottom line on calculated chart merges the strata and gives thresholds and joint activation rates for the merged strata. We can then do multiple windows in the same way and eventually compare across windows based on the merged grouped admin/strata in each window.
The above follows the design framework we've been using for the app. HOWEVER,
I just added in the CADC data to start thinking about how I would have applied it to that project and it turns out it's completely different. In CADC we have country level for each window... So if we add them per window we get the correct the values/analysis but the final row of the tables are irrelevant and we'd want to perform all downstream analysis at the strata level rather than the merged strata level.
better summarization of issue
For Ethiopia we were letting user select strata and then calculating spatially unioned versions of the thresholds joint RPs. Then user can do this for as many windows as they want and get overall activation across windows
For CADC the strata were admin 0 and we didn't care about the spatially merged thresholds/activation rates for all 4 countries together, rather just per window and across windows
Design options
its almost like we need multiple modes for the dashboard ....
Allow user to select allocate per strata or 1 allocation for all strata in window ?
