Changes required when compiling with -safe-string #64

Minimal changes required to compile ocaml-top under OCaml version 4.06.0

Whether this is worth a version bump, it is not for me to say.

I've closed the request because of some, the commit history was weird looking, with the idea of reopening it later with a cleaner history

But the changes are minimal, and my guess is that those can be directly applied.
