Honestly, I'm not using the plugin very much, as it has major performance implications. Has much changed in version 4? What does the upgrade path look like?
Shared opinion for performance.
No idea how to upgrade ... but the promise of better performance can be a dream come true.
I mostly use rainalb/debugbar
; but for displaying some more complex variables `clockwork' is better (I go crazy every time I want to copy something from the debugbar).
Also, `rainlab/debugbar' is no longer available from marketplace for OctoberCms version 1.0.
As this issue is still open, I take the opportunity to announce that itsgoingd/clockwork is now at version 5, with some big reworks on its UI and a toolbar option like barryvdh/laravel-debugbar.
It would be nice to keep this plugin updated, as for now rainlab/debugbar-plugin is still out of the Marketplace for a long time now.
Did any of you test the update by chance? What is required to get it working? If it is about changing a composer dependency and it works I can look into this. But if there is some more work involved, I don't have the time to get into this right now, unfortunately.
Any plan to update itsgoingd/clockwork to version 4 !?
