The original board_test design was replaced with the simple-add-buffers design to avoid confusion with any user as the board_test design is mentioned in the documentation as being used from the oneAPI-samples repo. Instead we had an extra copy in the oneapi-asp repo. To avoid future maintainance work of keeping these designs in sync it was decided to use a much simpler design here (simple-add-buffers)
