• Invisible Mentor

  • Current Holders: [Names of current mentors]

  • Purpose: To provide easy-to-follow tutorials and documentation, supporting new members in learning and contributing effectively.
  • Accountabilities: Develop and maintain tutorials, offer guidance to newcomers, and ensure learning materials are accessible and comprehensive.

• Finances Manager

  • Current Holders: Ben
  • Past Holders: [Names of past managers]
  • Purpose: To manage finances to ensure financial stability, minimize stress regarding administrative tasks, and maximize financial flexibility.
  • Accountabilities: Manage OGGM finances, handle administrative financial tasks, and maintain financial records in line with legal and community standards.

• Community Support Specialist

  • Purpose: To ensure timely problem-solving for individuals by leveraging community support.
  • Accountabilities: Respond to community members' inquiries, provide support, and facilitate connections between those who need help and those who can provide it.

• GitHub Issue Triagist

  • Current Holders: Patrick, Fabien, Anouk

  • Purpose: To ensure no GitHub issues go uncommented, providing effective issue management and resolution.
  • Accountabilities: Monitor GitHub issues, ensure each issue is addressed, provide comments, and coordinate with developers for resolution.

• Meta-Programming and Infrastructure Manager

  • Purpose: To maintain meta-programming features inside OGGM, such as testing, continuous integration (CI), and overall project organization.
  • Accountabilities: Oversee testing processes, maintain CI pipelines, manage infrastructure, and ensure that development tools are functioning optimally.

• Outreach and Communication Volunteers

  • Purpose: To expand the reach of OGGM by communicating the value of glacier science to the public and other stakeholders.

• Hubs Admin

  • Accountabilities: Administer users on both classroom.oggm.org and hub.oggm.org, manage permissions, troubleshoot user issues, and ensure the platforms are functioning efficiently.

• Contributors and Users
