Sample_Tutorial02_VariableFramerate not rendering correctly on VM with OpenGL 4.3 support #447

Running a debug build.

Detailed description

The sample applications are not rendering correctly when running on an Ubuntu 24.04 guest in VMware with hardware acceleration enabled. The report from glxinfo suggests that the driver should support ogre-next, however in even the minimal examples the scene is not rendered correctly (e.g. Sample_Tutorial02_VariableFramerate).

It's proving difficult to trace, as there does not appear to be any major issues at runtime or in the ogre.log. Any suggestions for areas to investigate appreciated.

This should be reported to VMWare, not us.

Most likely they're having problem with instancing or indexing the world matrix buffer. We've seen that problem in the past with SW rasterizers such as llvmpipe.
