Boston Medical Center's Health Equity Explorer (H2E) is a data platform and tool developed on top of existing OMOP CDM infrastructure to allow researchers, clinicians, and other stakeholders to explore relationships between health outcomes and place-related data.
H2E currently supports Child Opportunity Index, Social Vulnerability Index, and ACS5yr data. It will soon also support Environmental Justice Index data.
AFAIK, H2E currently supports place-related data for the. Boston-area.
OHDSI GIS would like to support H2E as a source for geometry and attribute data. The first step for demonstrating value is by meeting the H2E's current requirements (attribute datasets listed above) so that using OHDSI GIS as the H2E backend would provide equivalent functionality.
After that, demonstrate utility by allowing for more geometries and more attribute datasets.
