Where is source code for skeletons stored?

Why not to store the source code in https://github.com/OHDSI/Hydra/tree/master/inst/skeletons or reference other repos with the source code from the skeletons directory? and assemble Zips only during package build? This would provide at least more transparent changes control

Perhaps we could consider using Github submodules for the skeletons themselves? This would be a similar proposed approach for Network Studies as mentioned in this forum thread: http://forums.ohdsi.org/t/the-process-for-proposing-and-defining-a-network-study/4581.
