Use case? We have an OSM representation for address information depending on the hierarchical level of detail, such as country, region, state/province, county/community/parish, city, town. But zip codes or 3-digit zip codes are missing, even though they are the most common in large scale data in the US. So, let's add them in. They would have to sit above county or city or town.

This forum post also picks up the absence of certain countries from OSM (also Turkey to be added...).
