They are non standard. Non-standards can be duplicates, because they map to a standard. Standards have to be unique (but of course we have a few violators of that rule).
In this case, it is a mistake. The same RxNorm Extension record was written twice, by us. But it's too late. Concepts never die. They become invalid. So, we need to invalidate one.
Describe the problem in content or desired feature the drug concept name "plant bud for smoking" in RxNorm Extension has two different concept ids. I thought it was impossible that every concept name has to be unique.
How to find it
Expected adjustments delete one of the two?
