Music doesn't play and cannot select it #89

When I select a game, no music plays. If I go into the game's configuration to pick one, a bunch of results pop up for a second and then they all vanish and the only option is no music. Tried restart and reinstall to no avail.

OS: 3.5.19 Decky: 3.0.0 Plug-in: 1.6.0

The exact same happends to me. Tried to reinstall plugin and decky loader. But no luck.

Yep I can confirm this issue to When selecting manually sometimes I see a bunch of result that get than all removed

Solved it. You just need to change the invidious instance in the app settings (invidious acts like a proxy to YouTube)

Which one did you take? I tried several ones and none worked for me (didn‘t try all if course)

It worked for me. I used the very top option. The US one. However it's very slow to load and play music. This might be because of too many people trying it.

I worked from the bottom up basically (figured the top servers would be in demand), I remember it's a Finnish server but haven't got the deck to hand to check.

It worked for me. I used the very top option. The US one. However it's very slow to load and play music. This might be because of too many people trying it.

I've had no speed issues with the server I'm on, maybe play around and find the one that works best for you?

I got it working after swapping Invidious Instances. Apparently this is a server bandwidth issue

Doesn't work if there are no instances listed anymore.

Yeah Sometimes a list appear and you can select ass example the finish server (I tried all the german onces but those didn't work at all) and it works but not for very long

Hope there willbe soon an update about that

This plugin has not worked for me in months, and I'm still shocked that the dev has neglected to fix this issue. For some reason, the list has gotten even shorter and I can't even select the US.

The list of servers is at 4. And on all of them the songs appeared for a moment then disappeared one by one. Even on songs I know would normally survive the "culling" of copyrighted stuff

Why just dont allow us to configure (painfully but definitely) a local audio file.

Why does it cull copyrighted stuff anyway? If it's a matter of having premium maybe add the ability to sign in inside the settings panel?

Same issue. No US instance and it just kicks the results as soon it loads. Why even remove copyrighted options? Is the plugin only supposed to be useful to people that only play games with royalty free music?

Had the same problem, one of the four things would happen to me. A. No results B. Results would disappear after 1 second. C. Results would show up but the UI just wouldn't work D. Results worked but no music

After putting the decky updates to prerelease, the ukranian (invidious.nerdvpn.de) one worked. The japenese one had problem B and the rest problem A. Although I do have that the "welcome to arstotzka" doesn't work. Presumably it is the official one uploaded by the publishers/developers or record label. EDIT: a second ago I had A and B again after putting decky to stable again and back to prerelease. But for some reason now it works (on the ukranian one again), but i am only getting 5 results because problem B. And sadly those 5 results are bad, I don't want the death theme, the musical, two orchestras, and I especially don't want it with lyrics. Problem B seems inconsistent.

I think we are just going to need someone to fork this and modify it so that we can use our own audio files for moments like this. This issue has been going on for months now. The dev is not maintaining it. Probably too busy.
