Updated methane fix #108

Hi @chrisroadmap

I finally got around to updating your methane fix branch (pull request #95, issue #93), so that it works with the restarts functionality I added. I'm not completely sure about the results, because the plots in the jupyter notebook look different to those you generated (with #95), but I think the logic is fine. In any case, it would be great if you could check it!

With the update to v2.1, the pull request is now out of date, but the issue is still open.
