This is really useful to compare FAIR with MAGICC as I have been asked to do a few times. This improvement plus an additional check to the setup.py file to insist on earliest allowable versions of numpy and scipy dependencies will constitute v1.1.3.
Nice, search for pymagicc on GitHub too, provides a bunch of other nice functionality which will be useful!
