This issue is unique.

[X] I have used the search tool and did not find an issue describing my idea.

Your idea.

I selected any part of a spreadsheet (many tables in the spreadsheet). I clicked "save as" but it saved all tables to PDF, that is not what I was expecting. I tried to click "print" that prints the selected table to PDF, that works but it is PDF as image (> 3 MB size), not text.

I need a new feature that should save any selected part of a spreadsheet to PDF as text, not image.

Can you please provide more detailed steps for reproduce and send us a problem file?

I created 4 tables in the same sheet.
I selected 1 of 4 tables, for example:
Click a button "Print file" -> "Print" -> "Selection" in Print range

There are 2 different buttons below: "Print" and "Print to PDF"

Click the button "Print to PDF" As a result, all tables in new PDF are printed, unfortunately not a single selected table.

Click the button "Print" As a result, this selected table is printed in a new PDF that works, but as an image and not text. You cannot search any word in this PDF because it is an image.

My expectation:

One of many tables is selected to be printed in PDF.
The PDF format should be text, not image, it allows searching by words in any PDF reader.

The current version: 7.4.1.36

I clicked "save as" but it saved all tables to PDF, that is not what I was expecting.

This is the known issue - number 63002 in our internal tracker.

I tried to click "print" that prints the selected table to PDF, that works but it is PDF as image (> 3 MB size), not text.

About that i'm in touch with the devs and will provide an answer asap.

@Zesko this is also the bug, number 63860.
