Reproduction Steps

1. Create a Word/Spreadsheet/Presentation document
2. Write some text with the Cantarell font (package used)
3. Export to PDF
4. Open the PDF

Additional information

• Another user hit the problem
• The font is a .otf file and not a .ttf
• Using Arch Linux x64 with the onlyoffice-bin package.
• (Works with LibreOffice)

Same with 7.3.3.49 from Fedora 38 repository. Tried different fonts, same result. The web based editor, however, works fine with the same document.

It seems that this is about additional locally installed fonts under /usr/share/fonts/, because the garbage output only exists in this case. This is true for all other regularly installed fonts.

As soon as one removes the additional fonts and renews the font cache, conversion to PDF works fine with the "regular" fonts.
