[Feature request] Cursor Smooth Caret Animation #1809

This issue is unique.

Your idea.

Only Office could have smooth animation feature on typing like in Microsoft Office

Hi, not sure that we are able to do so because of our multiplatform nature and that we use CEF as a base for our product

Do you ever see nice animation like in MS Office in any application that is multiplatform\based on CEF/Electron?

VScode has this feature and is made with Electron.

@sandenbergmelo Not sure that I understand that are you talking about in that case

I've checked VSCode and it's typing same as in our product, with little-bit delay

VSCode has this feature but is disabled by default smooth

@sandenbergmelo Ok, got it. I've created issue 57815 in our private issue tracker to discuss it with our team, but not sure if it even possible, so cannot make any promises

Moving this issue to DocumentServer repo, since it's our base product
