May I know if you create documents in pure English or in mixed set of languages? I've tried these words and none of them turned marked/underlined. However I noticed that in documents with mixed languages Only Office incorrectly detects words and languages leading to the cases like you describe. Another interesting observation was that Only Office seems to fail running spell-checking altogether on long documents. My documents captain 200+ pages and I gave up hoping that Only Office would check anything. Can this be applied to you as well?
I'm only creating documents in English.
For additional comparisons' sake I also plunked these same words into LibreOffice Write and while it marks two of the words as "misspelled," it doesn't mark every one of them as misspelled like it does in OnlyOffice. So this means whatever system OnlyOffice is using is likely not system-wide.
If it helps, the specific OS I'm on is Linux Mint 21.
I also tried this in macOS and got the same results except for "production" not receiving the red line. LibreOffice on macOS does not consider any of these five words as misspelled.
Hello @yllekz! Thank you for report. I can confirm that the problem exists. I created ticket 60173 in our private tracker with your issue. Problem reproduces in Document Server.
Hello, thanks for the update.
I found additional words marked as misspelled as well, if that helps:
AFAIK Only Office relies on a third-party software, They don't supply a better spell-checking library even in their commercial versions. :smiling_face_with_tear: @ElenaMaaya please correct me if I'm wrong.
This issue is unique.
