Your idea.

Hi! Neither Microsoft nor Apple seem to be in a hurry to incorporate technologies developed by third parties. However, your program is inherently oriented to users with a greater affinity and closeness to writing/developing documents on the web and free software.

On the web and in GNU/Linux there is wide support for modern image formats such as .webp or .heif. In recent versions, MS Office does allow inserting images in documents with these formats. I think it would be very positive to expand the compatibility of images. The possibility of an optional automatic conversion to .jpg or .png could be incorporated to maximize compatibility with browsers and third-party software.
