Hi @fastrizwaan! This is the planned behavior, because the thumbnails display the style as it will look when printing the document. I note that in MS Office styles look similar on a dark theme. You can logically describe why you think it should be different and I will be able to issue this proposal to the design department.
When we are working in the dark, the white colours hurt the eyes in a really dark environment. we are using dark theme because it is soothing in the dark. as you've given reason that style should look as they're going to be printed, but the page and text in dark theme does not look as same as it will get printed. and those who are using dark theme knows that colours will be different.
can we have a really dark theme, without white in dark theme for eye comfort please? thanks
And how do you think this should be implemented:
Thanks for the feedback!
when Dark Document option is activated.
Also could you consider dark sheet
for spreadsheet too?

For the spreadsheet editor, there are no plans to implement this mode yet, perhaps in the future we will come to this if users ask. I will note your wish.

According to your main request, the Bug 53982 has already been issued earlier and I have added your feedback to it. I hope this will speed up the solution of the problem.

I would love the option of dark spreadsheet too. Why stop at dark interface for Spreadsheet?
This would be a most welcome feature. One thing that separates OnlyOffice from the rest of the office suites is its dark mode. But without these remaining ui sections, its just not quite complete. @fastrizwaan its completely right. Dark mode users don't really care for the final document looks while we are on dark mode. We just care for our eyes. Later if we want to print the document, it makes sense to preview it in light mode. Document dark mode should be the default for dark mode. This could be a button on the main ui.
