I suggest adding important function for the table editor like:

FILTERXML - Allows you to get values from XML by specifying xpath;

This is the enhancement number 68375. We'll post here about any updates.

And we're moving this issue to DocumentServer repo, since it's our base product and this improvement actual there too.
