Text and Images Are Boxed When Reopening Document (Urgent Fix Needed) #3000

Open isaka-james opened 6 days ago

isaka-james commented 6 days ago

This issue is unique.

Operating System of DocumentServer

Linux (RPM package)

Version information

8.2.0.143

Expected Behavior

When reopening a document after saving it, the text and images should remain in their original format without being contained inside any boxes. The layout should stay intact, and elements should not shift or distort

Actual Behavior

After reopening the document, the text and images are enclosed within boxes, disrupting the document’s layout and readability. This behavior occurs consistently and makes it very difficult to work with the document after saving

Reproduction Steps

  1. Create a new document in OnlyOffice (version 8.2.0.143).
  2. Insert the copied text and images.
  3. Save the document.
  4. Close and reopen the document.
  5. Observe that the text and images are now inside boxes upon reopening

Thank you for looking into this issue

I have attached the document that reproduces the problem as requested. The process I followed was,

Copied the text from ChatGPT and pasted it into a new document in OnlyOffice version 8.2.0.143
Added a screenshot image alongside the text
Saved the document, closed it, and reopened it
Upon reopening, the text and images were enclosed in boxes, disrupting the layout

This behavior occurs consistently Please let me know if further clarification or additional steps are needed
