Cell fill color is incorrect in specific Docx file #657

What is the current behavior? Sometimes document editor adds tags in the structure of tables that brakes compatibility with Word 2013 (makes rows not editable) and add strange side effects in Word 2016-19 like adding a new row to table when clicking on rows that were added in OnlyOffice.

There are statistics about the percentage of MS Office version usage by our clients:

Office Version Popularity
2007 2%
2010 13%
2013 37%
2016 32%
2019 16%

And it is too hard to explain to them why we spoils documents after online editing. Please don't ignore this bug.

Hello, @RuslanGabbasov. Sorry, I cannot reproduce your problem. Could you describe the steps for playback in more detail?

Hello, @Rita-Bubnova It's very easy:

  1. Take this document
  2. Open it in OnlyOffice document editor, add few rows with text to table in the document, save and download it. image
  3. After that, you take a document like this.
  4. Open it in MS Word 2013 and you can see that all rows that you added are empty and not editable. image
  5. Open it in other versions of MS Word (e.g. 2016 or 2019) and you can see that these rows formatted with strange styles like this: image

Do I understand correctly that in MS Word 2013 a this file, then all rows that you added are empty and not editable? Can you upgrade the version of DocumentServer (to 5.4.1-39) and try to reproduce the problem? Sorry, while I cannot reproduce your problem.

Yes, you have right understood me. I had done all these operations in version 5.4.1.39 this time. Maybe this problem appears only in MS Office version 15.0.4569.1504. We will check the other version and write it to you. But the problem is really, look in Word 16-19 background color in the second row shows incorrectly.

Thank you, @RuslanGabbasov. I can confirm the problem with displaying the background color in the second row of the table. This is issue 43289 in our internal issue tracker.

But I can not reproduce the problem with empty and not editable rows. I am using MS Word 2013 (15.0.5163.1000), Windows 10 Pro.

Problem with MS Word 2013 (version 15.0.4569.1504) solves by https://support.microsoft.com/ru-ru/help/3141464/january-3-2017-update-for-word-2013-kb3141464. Thanks for help!

@RuslanGabbasov Glad to hear, thanks. This is one of rarest cases in our practice, that minor upgrade to word cause some comparability changes

We leave this issue opened, since cell fill color issue is still actual

I have a user that does report an issue with cell background color. (Just wondering if I should open a new issue, or ask here)

On the 3rd Tab, named "Impunité Multinationales", the column A, line 90, the backgroud is currently white and it was black before an update to version 6.3.1.32.

@pierreozoux, there are two different problems (first - in DOCX file, second - in XLSX file). Could you create new separate issue for your file?
