Hi, when using this plugin with safari on Mac or iPad, I got following message:

'An error has occurred while opening the file.
The file content corresponds to text documents (e.g. docx), but the file has the inconsistent extension: pdf I think, the message is from or like errorInconsistentExtDocx (https://github.com/ONLYOFFICE/web-apps/blob/master/apps/pdfeditor/main/app/controller/Main.js)

I use following settings: Format (ONLYOFFICE) Form Firefox and chrome is working as expected on mac. When I use other file-types than Form everything is fine on mac and ipad with safari

Moodle 4.4.1+ Build: 20240719) mod_onlyofficeeditor v6.0.0 assignsubmission_onlyoffice v2.2.0

Thanks

Hello, Can you consistently reproduce the issue? If you can, please describe your scenario in as much detail as possible.

Hi, yes, I can! I'm using a mac (M2) for testing this: With firefox in a moodle-course, as admin:

  1. add a new assignment - name: test
  2. check checkbox Submission types: Onlyoffice document 2a. choose Format (ONLYOFFICE) Form 2b. scroll to the end and click "Save and return to course"
  3. With Safari, test-user, goto course and open assignment "test", click on "Add submission"
  4. Error "Form is not ready..." appears - I can wait and reload the page, nothing changes 4a go back in Firefox, as admin, click "edit settings" from assignment "test", in settings I scroll to the end and save assignment (whithout any changes)
  5. back to safari, open assignment "test", click on "Add submission", and the final error message comes "An error has occurred while opening the file...."

With chrom or firefox step 5 works! (but step 4 is also not working)

I hope this was clear enough... I made some screen-shots for every step

1 2 3 4 5

Thank you!
