We only have mid-year population estimates at small area level (output area), which are not disaggregated by age, sex or disability. And we may have mid-year estimates for LA districts, which are disaggregated by age and sex, but that is at an aggregated level, which we may need to disaggregate.
The method that we used in #97 for disability proportion calculation can be used for the NI data. (Check that this may have already been done for disability, but it will not have been done for sex).
The method for age will be slightly different, as the age of each group is increasing each year.
