SlackShots is an application that allows user to upload large amounts of images to a chosen Slack channel in their Slack workspace, in a much faster and more user friendly way that using Slack's native application!
This is feature will take least priority, and honestly is just a thought I have because I want to get more practice implementing image classification and possibly segmentation models lol. The thought is that with the data provided with uploaded images, and pertained models, we can provide a unique search feature that will intelligently find what the user is looking for. For example:
At Christ Chapel, we upload around 100-200 images per week, with different shots, lighting, people, places etc.
Within a year, we're looking at 5200-101000 images. Thats a lot of images, but also a lot of data
We can use a retrained model to do searches such as "Give me all the pictures from this date", or "Give all the pictures with Pastor ... in them"
I still need to look into this feature, it would be cool, but it is not guaranteed if it is not practical or hinders the application otherwise
