43) When entering a search query, could this clear the filter when you enter a search? #227

@webmasterkai we discussed this earlier on 10/2/2014 — did we finish figureing this out?

When I talked to Andrew the point was that filters are worth while once you search for something, but that if you were using the filters and then going to search it was probably because you hadn't found what you wanted by just filtering so clearing them made sense...

once you got search results back, further filtering them then was useful.

I can do this, but every time any letter in the search changes all the filters will reset. Every single change to the search string.

hmmmmmmm that doesn't sound optimal performance wise. ugh. Okay, hold off on this while I think about it for a bit...

okay, well fine then it's what they asked for ... they can be to blame for performance lags
