1 year ago Kent asked me to merge since he has limited access to GitHub until he returns.
DAP2 doesn't have 8-bit integer. When mapping HDF5 to DAP2's compound datatype, 8-bit integer is mapped to 16-bit integer. However, DAP4 has 8-bit integer. The HDF5 handler still follows the DAP2 protocol for DAP4. This needs to be fixed. This pull request fixes this issue. Also several tests are added.
