[x] When Z-layering is turned off, code runs as normal.
[x] When strip splitting is turned on, the code runs in strip splitting mode.
[x] The value of each pixel should be multiplied by the opacity value.
[x] For first implementation, just add the two layers and deal with integer overflow manually.
