What causes this?
Likely applying too much torque to our taps while trying to tap too deeply.
What does this problem look like? When would someone experience this problem?
When someone is building our frame and is tapping the frame, they end up breaking their taps. This issue is internal, and does not effect clients.
How to resolve/avoid this issue?
We are trying to reduce the tapping distance, as well as looking into self tapping screws.
