wmode transparent not working in Chrome #653

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Use the SWFObject 2 HTML and JavaScript generator v1.2 to generate code.
2. Set wmode to transparent
3. View online in Chrome and wmode transparent will not work

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Oddly shaped swf should sit on top of full screen html background image but 
instead a gray non transparent rectangle(at swf defined dimensions )can bee 
seen between the swf and the html background  

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Swfobject V2.1, Vista home edition, Chrome 24.0.1312.57 m

PS: wmode transparent on Vista works locally but not when viewed online

Try wmode opaque instead transparent, i know the issue will remain but your
