Description: In order to understand many future issues: how to design the UI/UX, what kinds of fashion trends to analyze, etc., as well as set up the project with clear goals and aims in mind, and tailor all work throughout towards this end, we must first conduct some secondary research, analysis, and synthesis to understand who this project benefits, and their motivations.

Actionable: This issue may be addressed through a combination of primary and secondary research. For secondary research, we may scour online databases, such as IBISWorld (available through the Illinois Library website) for information on key players and clients in the fashion industry to develop some background on personas we are creating this platform for. Other sources across the internet may also be used to this end. Primary research interviews with experts, and those who fit into the demographic we are looking to target will also be helpful. From there, analyzing information from all this research for key insights, and synthesizing both primary and secondary research insights will guide development of our final personas. The final deliverable will be a small grouping (exact quantity TBD) of personas helping the team to empathetically understand the majority of end users for the product.
