If plane 1 (or 4) total pressure = plane 5 total pressure, I think that is what will cause the comprehensibility factor to not converge.
Not sure how you turn this into a useful validation / warning message.
To recreate:
Planes 4 & 5 should have the same area, barometric pressure, dry bulb temp, and static pressure.
