I need to try some prototyping of existing libraries or ways to implement this in MEASUR and see what the technical constraints are going to be, so we can move forward on what this looks like.

Going to zero in on 2-3 options that look closest to offering needed api/methods, then will try out in browser or standalone js implementations using constant/mock data for a handful of nodes

Done. Going to run with ReactFlow provided it can integrate with MEASUR without hiccup. Otherwise will have to revert back to js drawflow, maxGraph, or something more d3-like
