I was doing some reading and I think if we are using code that has been licensed under GPL we might need a GPL licence too - it depends on how we use the code tho. Any thoughts?

We also need to consider the 'cost' of the licence choice, for further development, operation and maintenance. We should also link the software inventory clearly as an appendix. After that we should be getting top marks!
