Write Executive Summary

An executive summary is a piece of text that motivates your work, highlights the most important risks and benefits, and the expected outcomes. In a company, an executive summary should be the only document a senior executive or decision maker needs to reed to make a decision, i.e., if they are willing to sponsor or approve your project or not. Thus, the executive summary targets very often a different audience than the rest of the report and, hence, must be written to with this in mind
