VFT GUI Query Error #10

Open bbrust opened 9 years ago

bbrust commented 9 years ago

Apparently, some of the changes recently made to clean up VFT GUI pointers, etc., have caused the 'Query' to be messed up. Just try a problem and try to identify an node number, or a distance and you will see.

Maybe I am not as familiar with the Query interface, but I don't notice anything out of the ordinary. It looks the same as before to me.

For the simple Tee model (above) the problem only happens some times. I just pulled it up and most of the time it was OK. A few not. I have a thick plate problem I have been checking some things out on. I can't figure out how to upload it here so I will e-mail it. This is a 50.8 mm thick butt weld. When you check some of the node numbers you will see (for instance, 20.5) - that is a decimal instead of integer. Also, if you check the distance for thickness, I get '5' instead of 50.8. It is strange and not consistent. Might need Ed to look at it.

I'll assign it to Ed. Also to add images here, you just drag and drop them into the issue box you are writing in.

I understand how to drag pictures. But how about files?

nickjer commented 9 years ago

Yeah, you are unable to attach data files to issues in GitHub. That is kind of annoying.
