Today I learned that you can embed the filepicker in different apps. This is likely something I should have known previously, but from searching in the docs I can't find any mention of how to set this up or how to use this feature. You would have to be aware of the main repo to see how to actually use this app (sphinx search is not great, so it is possible this is somewhere but didn't show up).
This is just a ticket to track work around writing an entry, though I don't know where it would go under out current scheme of navigation.
