I remember @jjimenezshaw had an issue about the original geoid model at Svalbard:
is there any real issue in having the file being larger than the advertized EPSG extent ?
If this clip is necessary, the "regenerate index" commit should be dropped as it conflicts with more recent changes. I'll take care of regenerating it
My "problem" was that it was not shown in cdn.proj.org map. @rouault already fixed that. In addition to that I was just a bit surprised about the difference in size @himsve already explained it in https://github.com/OSGeo/PROJ-data/pull/86#issuecomment-1253407140
The geoid raster no_kv_arcgp-2006-sk.tif at Svalbard is clipped to fit the EPSG extent 4058 (Arctic - 81°10'N to 76°10'N, 4°W to 38°E), approximately.
The vertical transformations EPSG:10107 and EPSG:10106 should not be trigged outside the 4058-area.
Link to extent at epsg.io: EPSG:4058.
