Can't build #42

Can't go to "libgeotiff". Please change build instructions to cd libgeotiff/libgeotiff.

Can't run ./configure --with-proj=.... : bash: ./configure: No such file or directory

My mistake. All worked after download the TAR file. You must let clear that we can't clone and build.

Just to follow up on this, I am also finding that if I download a release tar or use git, neither come with ./configure out-of-the-box. There is an autogen that doesnt seem to want to run on my machine. Is there perhaps different install directions?

The INSTALL and instructions here both suggest there is a ./configure in the tarball....

Or maybe I am mistaken? Sorry if this is a silly question!

I'm sorry user error. I accidentally downloaded the wrong tarball. going to the "Download" link on the releases gave me the correct version
